Initiated by Eng. Prabath Wickramasinghe as an individual entrepreneurial venture in 1999,  Pacific Hydo Electric (PHE) was incorporated in 2010 , as an Engineering Company with a Strong Focus on Renewable Energy.

Commencing its voyage towards renewable energy by discovering and co developing new hydro power projects and broadening its business segments from hydro to solar, biomass, wind power and energy investment management, PHE has widened its capacity, backed by its experience in the renewable energy sector for more than two decades, to have its own investment portfolio as well in that sector.

In 2018 PHE sailed towards international waters  by making its presence in Sub-Saharan Africa. With a vision of becoming a globally recognized brand in the renewable energy sector, PHE with its passionate and dedicated team strives towards putting Sri Lanka in the global map.
